It's Pumpkin Spice Season

Fall officially begins for me as soon as I get that special email from Starbucks telling me that their Pumpkin Spice Latte is now available. It doesn't matter if it's still 90 degrees outside. Pumpkin Spice has begun and my mind instantly goes to all things fall and pumpkin spice.
I can't always make it to starbucks for my beloved pumpkin spice latte so sometimes I improvise at home. Below is a simple and satisfying homemade Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe you can enjoy all year round!
Author: adapted from
Serving - 1 latte
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup (4oz / 115g) brewed coffee
1/2 cups (4oz / 115g) milk (I prefer almond milk but go with what makes you happy)
  1. In a saucepan add in all of your ingredients.
  2. Stir and bring the ingredients to a simmer.
  3. Take the saucepan off the heat and pour into your mug.
  4. Decorate with freshly whipped cream and a sprinkles of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
  5. Enjoy!
